Moldova was the 7th and unfortunately last (due to the COVID19 situation) country we visited during our European Tour. Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine were the ones before. As you know by now, a friend and I were driving in his converted Toyota Corolla from 1998, since Denmark, and had started a 3 month trip which would have taken us all around Europe.

In this article, you’ll be able to read about our journey through this lovely and promising country as well as find links to some more detailed article about it. Don’t hesitate to comment if you have more questions!

Day 1: Crossing the border

We arrive from Ukraine and weren’t ready at all to face this border. Click here to read more about it.

Day 2: Around Orhei Vecchi

We took a day around this complex of monasteries and it was so breath taking. Please click here to see more pictures and learn more about this place and our journey there.

Sadly we had to hurry to cross the border with Romania in order to go home before the borders closed (due to the COVID19 regulations) and couldn’t see more of Moldova, but promised ourselves to come back.
