A day in Riga
After parking our car on the Ferry Terminal parking, we walked towards the (you know it by now) touristic info centre in order to get a map and to know what to see. The sun was shinning, and despite the temperature being around 8 degrees, it was a very enjoyable day.
Latvia - Day by Day
As We Entered The Country Of Latvia From Estonia, And So By The North-East Side, We Drove Directly To Gauja National Park And Started By Exploring Cesis, A Charming Medieval Town Known For Its Castle And Its Strong History.
Gauja National Park
Characterised by a great bio diversity, variety of landscapesand geology, natural springs and unique nature wonderlands, Gauja National Parkstretches over 90000 square hectares and protects one of the most beautiful parts of the Gauja river. As soon as we crossed the border in between Estonia and Latvia, we drove towards Gauja and decided to start our journey with Cesis Medieval Castle.
